Abstract


This study aims to design and build a Geographical Information System to search for a house of prayer based on Android in Palopo City to facilitate the community to search the house of prayer, showed how many houses of prayer, and easier for the government to know the number and data distribution house of prayer in Palopo city. The methodology used in this study is the method of waterfall system development. The data collection method in this research was observation, interviewing survey, and study literature. These information systems the design use method of development Unified Modelling Language (UML) comprised of use case diagram, activity diagram, and sequence diagram. The software used in these information systems uses design XAMPP as the web server and MySQL as a database. Android Studio as Editor design. This research led to an android application where users can see information about the house of prayer, search location for the house of prayer, and see about the application. This application has been tested using the Black Box testing method. With this application, it is hoped that it can help to search the house of prayer in Palopo City easier.
