Abstract

A decision support system or DSS (Decision Support System) is an interactive information system that provides information, modeling, and data manipulation. The system is used to aid decision-making in semi-structured and unstructured situations, where no one knows exactly how decisions should be made. The choice of cement errors greatly affects the strength level of the building because the cement selection process is still not well defined. Therefore, to minimize problems, a decision support system is needed that can analyze several existing cement brands. The decision support system uses the simple additive weighting method and is made based on existing data on the CV. Mulia Rahmad Group. The simple additive weighting process is carried out to determine the recommendation for cement in the best cement selection system based on criteria, namely texture, color, and price. The result of the selection process is in the form of ranking as a recommendation for decision-makers to choose the best cement in the process of implementing the construction work.
