Abstract


Smoking is an activity that we often encounter among the community. Although society mostly knows the dangers of smoking, but the habit of smoking is still in doing in the community. It has even penetrated into students of minors. The high level of smokers among ages to be one of the environmental factors and need special attention to the age of children or adults and currently smokers among children or who are already can semangkin increase this in the prove with the number of people who smoke at a young age.  Therefore, it requires a system capable of analyzing the number of smokers based on age level. The algorithm used is K-means algorithm which is a method of clustering for grouping on the data of the later research of smokers that is data on the population of the age level 2015-2018. Data sources obtained from the Office BPS Pematangsiantar. Based on this data, it will be the grouping of the number of smoker tiers among ages using the K-means clustering algorithm. With this method will be in the form of a Grouping and obtaining the desired results in the form of age grouping based on the number of smokers
